The DDJ-FLX4's mixer section inherits its layout from Pioneer's professional line of mixers, with a gain knob, 3-band EQ, Color FX (CFX), a channel fader, and a crossfader. Beat FX can be applied to either channel, 1 or 2, or to both simultaneously. Each deck includes a large jog wheel, loop functions, assignable performance pads, a tempo slider, and cue and play/pause buttons. The front panel provides a 3.5mm headphone output, while the rear panel offers a ¼" microphone input and a stereo RCA master output. Two USB ports are available. One is for the host connection to a computer/portable device, while the second is dedicated to power the DDJ-FLX4 when using with iOS and Android devices.
